This past month, we’ve all finally been able to break out the sweater dresses, boots and coats as the temperatures start to turn to fall mode. It’s been fun to see what you have been loving the most from what I’ve shared. So today, I’m rounding up your most loved items in October, plus your favorite posts from my LTK account.
Top 10 Most Loved Items in October
This pair of shapewear shorts by Spanx couldn’t get any more magical. I wear these under mostly special occasion dresses. They give you a seamless look while still feeling lightweight and comfortable. The shorts come in five total colors and in sizes XS to 3X. The best of the best!
This wool and cashmere sweater dress will keep you super warm without having much bulk to the dress. It’s made of 70 percent wool and 30 percent cashmere, and under $150. That’s a pretty good price point considering the materials used in the dress. It comes in a black color and a great balance of close fitting without being a bodycon dress.
If I had to pick one sweater to wear every day in the fall and winter, it would be a cashmere sweater like this J.Crew option. It comes in SEVERAL colors and in sizes XXS to 3X. The crewneck silhouette creates a more elevated look, allowing you to style it with jeans to skirts.
These Vince Camuto booties have been a favorite of mine for years and years. The slits on both sides make them the perfect bootie to pair with a variety of jeans from skinny to flair. The pointed toe elongates your legs and the heel is just the right height to wear them for long periods of time. And the best part is they’re under $80.
This Free People sweater has a cropped fit, making it a great option to pair with high-waisted denim jeans. The variety of texture adds interest to this lightweight sweater. It comes in four other colors and would look great layered under a moto jacket.
If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of underwear, these Chantelle Lingerie seamless pair are one of my favorites. They’re super stretchy and give a line-free appearance under your clothing. The underwear come in several different color options, and are great for postpartum too!
I regretted not buying these Reiss knee-high boots during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But as luck would have it, they went on sale again and grabbed them. Haven’t looked back because I absolutely love them. They’re currently 60 percent off and also come in a black color. They run a bit big, so I’d suggest sizing down a half to a whole.
Faux leather leggings are a fall capsule wardrobe staple. These leggings from Walmart are an affordable option. They were a top seller I think every week throughout October. They come in brown and black, and pair well with tunic-style sweaters and booties or knee-high boots.
This Free People sweater is always a top seller in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it’s currently 40 percent off right now. You all took advantage of that! This makes a great holiday gift, and comes in two other colors right now. I wear a size medium for length. Generally a small in most tops.
I’ve been raving about this cardigan for the last few months because it’s something I’ve been reaching for often to style. You can read all about this cardigan in this POST HERE. And also can see it in a stories highlight HERE. I sized down two sizes to get a closer fit. If you want a more oversized fit, I’d recommend your normal size.
Most Popular LTK Posts in October
We all love a good Nordstrom sale, and many of these items are still marked down. So click the “shop the post” above to see if you can snag a good deal. My very favorite pair of work flats are currently on major sale still by Sam Edelman. So if you’ve been needing a good pair of shoes to wear to work, now is the time to grab these.
It’s funny to think that a cup could be so popular and hyped up. But after getting it and using it, I now understand why it is. There are many colors still available in the 40oz and 30oz, so snag one for yourself and a holiday gift before they’re gone.
I love looking at the analytics of the past month to see what you all are loving. It helps me understand what you are needing and gravitate towards to plan the very best content for you.
I was so excited to see that my favorite plaid boyfriend shirt restocked. And you jumped on it to grab. The color combination is right up my alley with the white and navy/grayish. It looks so cute paired with high-rise jeans and front tucked for a casual look.
My Current Favorites
I also wanted to share five of my personal favorites right now starting off with the Dior Addict Lip Oil. It’s all I’ve been wearing lately, and have the clear and the pink. It’s super hydrating and will be great for the winter too. You can wear alone or over lipstick to give a little shine and moisture to your lips.
My second favorite of the month is the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in the color ‘blush.’ It provides a light coverage with an SPF 30. I like to wear it on the days I’m not wearing a full face of makeup or just want to do a quick 5-minute face.
My next favorite is the Cashmere and Wool Wrap Coat by Ralph Lauren. I have a blog post coming soon rounding up the best camel coats, so keep your eye out for that. This particular coat comes in three other colors.
This new iPhone case quickly become a favorite because you can personalize it. There’s something fun and unique when you can personalize something, and think this would make a great gift idea. Though the turnaround time is six weeks, so keep that in mind and don’t wait!
I may have found the BEST skinny jeans of all time with these Frame jeans from Saks. They’re super comfortable and stretchy. I wear a size 28, but if you’re between, I’d size down.
My last favorite item I want to share is this expandable travel bag by Longchamp. I use this every time I travel, which has been a lot recently. I put my carry on tote inside to keep it clean on the plane. You can expand it or fold it up really small. It’s also my everyday errand bag too, if I have returns or to shop with.
