When it comes to the lipstick colors I rarely deviate from my three go-to shades. I’m most comfortable in natural, neutral lip shades that are comfortable on my lips (aka doesn’t dry them out). I rotate between these shades depending on my outfit. I love how a lipstick shade can pull your overall look together when they coordinate! Here are three of my favorite shades + how to wear them to work.

Naturally Nude

YSL #10: With my fair complexion, I’ve stayed away from nude shades until I recently found YSL #10 through my friend Amanda. It has just enough neutral undertones in it to not pull a peachy/skin tone hue against my complexion. I typically pair it with this liner, which is a must-have in my beauty drawer because it goes with everything. The formula is matte on the lips which perfect for work.

I paired it with this neutral black and camel combo, featuring a soft cashmere sweater (on sale) and these fabulous work pants that are comfortable but chic! I linked a similar leopard pump, which ties in the color combination perfectly.

Pretty in Pink

Charlotte Tilbury Liv It Up: It’s no secret I love pink, but when it comes to a wearable pink lipstick shade for work I think this is a perfect balance. I typically dab it along my lips for a light wash of color, but it’s also buildable if you want something a little brighter. I usually use the same neutral liner with it!

Sizing details: Size up in both top and bottom. Top: wearing a medium. Bottoms: wearing a 6 and it fits like a smaller 4.

Your lips but better

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk: There’s a reason this is the #1 best selling lipstick in the world. The formula changed my opinion on lipsticks! It gives my lips depth while looking very natural. I also usually dab this on my lips for a light wash of color, and my tube has lasted over a year! I like to use Whirl lip liner with this shade.

I reach for these work pants every single week, and I’m honestly sad when they’re in the wash. They’re so comfortable I don’t even take them off after I get home from work! I tucked in this beautiful pink blouse. I adore the ruffles and details throughout! If you are tucking your top into these pants, be sure to pull the fabric over the waistband.
