Hi Friends! Happy Friday. I can’t believe it’s already time for another Weekly Chic catch up!
weekly highlights
I finished It Ends With Us last night and wow, it was such a bold and impactful book discussing the complicated relationships involving domestic abuse. The author wrote this book based on her own experiences, which in the end made the story even more compelling. My next read will be Ugly Love if you want to read along with me!
I tried these at-home lash extensions and it made getting ready super convenient! They go under your lashes and are surprisingly comfortable. They are supposed to last anywhere from 3-7 days, but I removed mine (gently with an oil) after 8 days! I ordered from another brand because I’d love to find something more natural, so I’ll keep you posted.
I love these cute girly finds from this week!
I’m shopping for a girly workwear video and put together a few outfits with the pieces I found. This one seemed to be a favorite!
I’m loving Nordstrom Rack lately. It feels like I’m shopping at TJ Maxx, but somehow even better. I love to see what great finds they have!
I set boundaries on my phone this week, limited the amount of time I spend on TikTok and Instagram and I set a quiet time between 8-10 to dedicate to reading in the evenings. I can still get on social if I want by resetting a minute or 15-minute reminder, which I do often because I use social media for work, but it makes me so much more aware of my time on apps! I set both of those settings up in settings > screen time 🙂

weekly favorites
This gloss has been a favorite of mine since I purchased it last July. I love to pair it with this liner in iconic nude.
These shoes were such a fun find! I’m going to style them often in workwear videos but I also think they look cute with jeans. I wouldn’t walk miles in them or anything, but they are surprisingly comfortable. I sized up a half, which I always do with slides.
I’ve been wearing this bow necklace often since getting it this month! It has a really beautiful sparkle to it and looks more expensive than it was. There are also matching earrings, too!
weekly outfits
This outfit was such a chic but comfy work from home outfit. Both the top and bottoms are very soft and stretchy. I’m wearing a s/m in the top and a 6 in the bottoms, but they have a very forgiving fit. You can see how I changed up this look for girls night in this reel on Instagram. My code STRAWBERRYCHIC gets you 22% off until the end of January.
I got so many DMs about this jacket when I wore it on Thursday. It’s a thicker sweatshirt material and you can wear it many different ways. I’m wearing a size small. It does sell out often but it’s something they usually restock.
I wore this nursing-friendly wrap sweater earlier this week, and it’s also styled in this try on haul with a skirt. I shared a style hack to keep it closed in this video.
Weekly Reflection
I listened to this podcast which started some interesting conversations on IG stories regarding how different women treat other women vs how they treat men. Why are women so much more critical of other women? It was really interesting to think through how complex this mindset is in our society.
I also shared that I still have high blood pressure 6 months postpartum, which has been frustrating to navigate because I really don’t want to continue taking medications without understanding why this is going on and how to fix the issue. I’m considering seeing a functional medicine doctor after I rule out some things with my primary physician. Tim has started a big health kick (and he’s already healthy as can be.. so his are next level lol), so maybe that’s something we will navigate together to try and naturally fix my blood pressure.

Weekly Purchases
I bought this bra but I’m still undecided on it. I LOVE this one from the brand, but this style doesn’t provide as much support and I literally slip out of it in my sleep lol. So.. I think I’m going to order more of these instead. It’s still the best.
I bought these joggers in a medium for an upcoming video on how to style loungewear

And those are the highlights from the week! I’ll have an Express try on going up on Youtube on Sunday, and then a giveaway + try on haul with Petal and Pup next Thursday 🙂 It’s apparently supposed to snow on Sunday so I’m excited to see if that will happen here in Georgia.
