It’s officially time to start closing out the year, and one of my favorite things to do is see what items y’all loved most from the year. Usually, it also hints at some of my favorite or most used items as well, because they’re typically things I wear and share the most throughout the year!
Your Most Loved Items from 2020
Here are the top 10 bestselling items from 2020.
#10 Barefoot Dreams Blanket
This was the year to justify splurging on all the Barefoot Dreams, am I right?! Y’all know my love for this blanket runs deep. I personally own two because one wasn’t enough. Click here to read more about the blanket and why it’s worth the hype!
#9 2-Way Wrap Sweater
Outside of shoes, this was the most popular Walmart item I’ve shared this year. You can wear it with the v either in the front or the back, and it’s very figure-flattering!
sizing: It runs TTS (I have the small)
#8 Time and Tru Bow Sandals
We all fell in love with these affordable bow sandals from Walmart. I hope they bring them back next Spring! They’re super flattering on the foot, and it doesn’t get any cuter than that bow detail.
sizing: They run pretty TTS, if you’re between size up.
#7 True Body V-Neck Bralette
This bralette is by far the most comfortable one I’ve tried. It’s made of a very thin, breathable fabric but still provides light support. It’s like a second skin under your tops! I also like the Spanx bra for an everyday bra. It provides more support and feels a little bit more like a normal bra if you’re looking for a little more support.
#6 Cozy Plush Chenille Sleep Pullover Sweater
Y’all this sweater came out of no where this month to make it on the list. It’s been one of the most popular Target items I’ve ever shared! But it definitely deserves the hype. It feels like barefoot dreams for a fraction of the price.
sizing: I personally sized up to a large for extra coziness.
$5 Spanx Booty Boost Active Leggings
I’m convinced there is no other legging more flattering than this pair. They seriously work magic on my waistline! I love that they’re a thinner pair of workout leggings, but they still feel compressive (in a good way). I will warn you, they aren’t squat proof, so if you’re purchasing these to do deadlifts in the gym make sure to face a wall. I don’t live that life anymore, but I just wanted to give those of you who do a heads up!
sizing: I wear my normal medium in Spanx. My hips measure the medium but my waist measures the small, so if you’re in between like me on their size chart I would size up.
#4 Derika Leather Boot
I always expect a few shoes to make the top of the list, they are my weakness and definitely make or break your outfit. The Derika leather knee high boot was another popular item from the NSALE that I continue to wear to this day. I love to style them with dresses and leggings.
sizing: I recommend sizing up a half size in these. They have a very pointed toe!
#3 Tory Burch Miller Sandal
One of my favorite wardrobe purchases is also one of yours! I wear these sandals non-stop from April to September. I have a full review of the Miller sandal here and feature many different ways to style them.
sizing: I personally prefer a half size up in these sandals. If you have a narrow foot, you will probably be find in your normal size.
#2 Thread and Supply Cardi Coat
This coatigan was the best-selling item from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year has definitely taught me to love anything oversized and cozy!
#1 Circus By Sam Edelman
These sandals made the top spot this year. They’re a great dupe for the Tory Burch Miller, but they’re also just cute and comfortable on their own!
sizing: I think they run a small, I recommend sizing up!
* * *
Not going to lie, it feels really good to start putting 2020 to a close. Although it was a very unexpected year, I do feel like this year has brought me a lot of growth that I’m thankful for. I was able to take my blog business full-time, and I started a second business teaching influencers how to do it too! And this year more than ever I’m thankful for this amazing community and your support. I always love reflecting back on the year, re-assessing and planning new goals during the new year, and of course a fresh start! I’m not sure what 2021 will bring, but I have a feeling it will be another wild ride and I can’t wait.
These were the items most loved by y’all that I shared throughout the year, but stay tuned for my favorite purchases from 2020 later this week.
