In March, I got to hop on a plane headed to Cabo with one of my best friends, and we had a great time! We were invited to a spring wedding in Cabo, and we took full advantage of the occasion and made a work girls trip out of it. This trip was a much-needed getaway, and I’ll certainly be back to visit again. Today, I’m excited to share what to wear in Cabo during the spring.

The weather was very breezy, and we found that it was a little chilly in the mornings and evenings. At times, sitting in the shade by the pool gave me goosebumps! For that reason, I’m glad I packed some layers.

If you’re taking a similar trip soon, my hope is that this post helps you prepare for what to pack. Let’s jump in!

What To Wear in Cabo During the Spring

There’s just something about a classic white swimsuit that never disappoints. I find that having a quality white one piece is a summer staple because you can easily change up your look with accessories. For a cover up to take to the pool and the beach, I added this colorful sarong. This piece is super versatile, because not only can you use it as a cover up, you can also use it as a beach blanket, tie it up as a dress, and so much more.

Knit Sweater Set

This knit sweater set was everything I needed in Cabo and more. I loved wearing this set to grab a coffee in the morning, and also for sitting out by the pool in the shade. Since it was a little breezier and cooler than I expected, I’m glad I packed this set. If you’re in the market for a sun hat, I have loved this one for a long time. The quality has stood the test of time for me, and I love how it goes with just about everything.

Romper & Large Tote Bag

A romper that looks and feels like a dress, sign me up! This romper was perfect for the trip. It could easily be worn as a cover-up, too. I was also really glad that I packed this large tote to fit everything I needed for the pool or the beach. The woven texture of this tote made it super easy to pack up in my luggage.

Mini Dress & Espadrille Wedge Sandals

This copper colored mini dress was so easy to throw on and go. I went for a monochrome look by pairing this dress with these brown espadrille wedge sandals. The bow detail on these shoes added an elevated touch to the overall look.

Button Up Top & Linen Pants

This outfit was another morning coffee run favorite of mine. The tone on tone button up top paired with breezy linen pants put me in the mood for a full on beach day. I threw my hair back and tossed on my go to white sandals and headed out the door for the morning.

Wedding Guest Dress

The dress I ended up wearing to the wedding was one of my favorite wedding guest dresses I’ve worn yet! The tiered mini ruffles throughout the design of this dress gives it a really unique but still classic look. I kept the tiered look going through the design on the heel of these lace up heeled sandals. To finish off the look I paired it with gold hoops and pulled my hair back into a curled low ponytail.

Because I knew the color of this dress would be best pulled off with a good tan, I made sure to pack and apply my favorite self tanner.

To maximize space in your luggage, I recommend packing some casual dresses you can wear to dinner or use as a swim cover-up. This white midi dress has been a best seller from my recent try-on haul.

This maxi dress was made for vacation! I love the wavy pop of color and the bow-tied shoulder detail. It runs a little small in the chest, I’m glad I got a medium!

One of my favorite spring wardrobe purchases was this darling dress! It has such a pretty a-line fit and I love the scalloped bow detail on the top. I wore a push-up sticky bra underneath. I’m wearing a size medium and it’s a little big in the chest so I planned to get that altered to make it a perfect fit.

I wore this eyelet dress to dinner on our last night in Cabo. I’m between a small and medium at Abercrombie and went with the medium in this dress. It’s very flowy and would be bump-friendly!

Travel Outfit

When we packed up to head home, I grabbed for the comfiest things in my bag. We had such a wonderful time, but I was ready to get home to my family! My go-to comfort pieces are certainly these leggings, the softest crew neck of all time, and these white sneakers. Pairing each of these items with an easy white top and my favorite sunglasses made for an easy travel outfit.
