I don’t know about you, but a beach vacation sounds good 24/7, 365 days a year. Something about the sunshine, sand and the sound of the waves that creates a trifecta of bliss and perfection. Aside from those wonderful things the beach brings, I love the outfits that are inspired from the beach. Lots of linens, flowy dresses, sun hats and straw totes are all things I could wear every single day. And I know many of you love the beach scene too. So I wanted to create a lookbook that includes curated outfits specifically for the beach. Below is a peek of the lookbook and included 5 outfits for your next beach vacation. Hopefully it makes it easy for you to check the packing task off your to-do list and be on your way to your tropical vacation!
Summer Lookbook
Each month I release a new lookbook with 20+ styled outfits. The best part is the lookbook is completely shoppable! So you can come back to your favorite looks when you’re ready to buy or use it as a guide for inspiration. Below you’ll see just a few examples of cute vacation outfits for the beach. To see 20+ looks, be sure to grab your copy of the lookbook!

I don’t think you can get away with packing for a beach vacation and not include a classic little white dress. I love this one because it’s lightweight and can easily transition from a beach coverup to running around, exploring the shops. To complete the look, add a fun, oversized beach bag and a straw sun hat. I love to braid my hair at the beach and add a scarf to the end to give it a more elevated look. To take the look from day to night, wear heeled sandals and add a clutch.

For an easy but put-together look for grabbing lunch at a restaurant or doing a little exploring, this look is a great option. I usually grab breezy neutral linen shorts, and pair it with a neutral top. You can also pair these shorts with a colorful, floral or other patterned top for a fun pop of color. Throw your hair in a ponytail if it’s hot and add a bow scarf to complete the look. Don’t forget your straw bag so that you can pack water, snacks and sunscreen! I rounded up the best summer straw bags here.

For a nice date night on the beach, pair a dainty floral dress with espadrille wedges or heeled sandals. For a feminine purse option, I love this pleated bow clutch. Keep your jewelry to a minimum and just stick to statement earrings! If it gets a little cool at night, add a denim jacket to this look. Check out the many ways to style a denim jacket here.

For those morning walks or walks to get coffee, I love a good athleisure look. I wore this outfit and similar types of looks almost every day while we were in 30A this past spring. It also makes a great travel outfit. For an easy bag to carry around town, this belt bag has been by go-to. It’s easy to fit your necessities in it without it feeling like it’s weighing you down. You can also add a baseball hat to keep your face protected from the sun. This is one I’ve been loving lately.

I love this last cute beach outfit because it’s honestly what I live in the most when we go to the beach. Grab a sweet little swimsuit like this floral option and pair it with linen pants or a coverup, and you’re ready for some fun in the sun. Bring an oversized towel and straw tote bag for the beach. The Tory Burch Cloud Millers are perfect to wear to the beach – so comfortable! Read my full review on them here!
