With each new season brings a whole new set of wardrobe staples that I believe every woman needs! Over the years I’ve whittled down the difference between must have spring wardrobe essentials and what are more trendy items, that will likely end up in the back of my closet in a few years. These are some of my worn items throughout the season and can we styled multiple ways.
Must Have Spring Essentials
SHOP WHITE JEANS
White jeans are a must have in the Spring. It can be a little cool still so this allows you to keep warm while still dressing in line with the season. Pair them with a light weight sweater or an off the shoulder top on warmer days! I prefer to usually size up one in white jeans so that they aren’t too tight. I also love that there are so many different styles of white jeans. my most worn pairs are these skinny jeans and my cropped flare jeans from Walmart.

SHOP DENIM JACKETS
I’ve had this denim jacket for years! I love that it’s affordable, slightly more fitted, and is the perfect medium wash. I usually size down in denim jackets, but in this one I got my normal size. This is what I grab as a light jacket all throughout spring because it goes with just about anything. From skirts to dresses, white jeans and more, it’s truly a spring must have wardrobe essential. Plus, this is a piece that you can wear all year long!

Espadrilles + Wedges
SHOP SPRING SHOES
A classic spring shoe that never goes out of style is an espadrille. I especially love these woven lace up ones for a sweet spring time feel. Whether you opt for a wedge espadrille or a traditional flat espadrille, once you slide those on you instantly look like you’re ready for the warm weather ahead!
Little White Dress
SHOP LITTLE WHITE DRESSES
A little white dress like this knot front dress is a spring must have! You can easily dress it up or down. Pair it with a long kimono and wedges for an elevated spring look. This would be perfect if you have a bridal shower on the books or even a baby shower. Going for a more casual vibe? Switch out the wedges for sandals, loose the kimono and add a hat!
SHOP SUN HATS
A sun hat is one of those pieces that instantly make a spring look feel more put together. And it’s an added bonus that it covers up unwashed hair! I love pairing mine with dresses when I’m running errands or with a swimsuit at the beach. When you’re not using your sun hat, hang it on your wall as decor. See how to do that in this post!
SHOP NEUTRAL SANDALS
There is nothing better than getting to slide you foot into a comfy pair of sandals after wearing heavy boots all winter long. My favorite, most worn pair are my Tory Burch Miller sandals. But there are so many great affordable sandal options that are just as comfortable if you aren’t ready to make the investment yet!

SHOP FLORAL DRESSES
You can’t enter spring without a floral dress that you love! There are so many great options from a short drop waist style like this one to a midi dress or even maxi dress style. Plus, when you are in a hurry, throwing on a dress saves time, no need to try to coordinate a whole look. I also love that you can dress them down with white sneakers or up with wedges and the right jewelry.

Basic White Tee
SHOP WHITE TEES
The magic of a white tee is how it pairs with everything in your wardrobe! You can knot the front and layer it over a midi dress or wear it with denim cutoffs for a more casual vibe. The options are truly endless. I always look for one that is a little thicker and won’t shrink after a few washes. This way I can wear it all season long! You can get 20% off this ruffle sleeved tee with code AMANDAJ20.

Spring Cross Body Bag
SHOP SPRING CROSS BODY BAGS
Once spring hits I like to switch over to a light weight crossbody. The heat can get intense in Georgia and toting around a large handbag is not always practical. I suggest finding one like this YSL bag in a beige quilted leather style. This one is the perfect size to fit everything I need while also easily pairing with multiple outfits! I compared this bag to the Gucci Soho Disco bag here if you’re torn between the two styles, along with a roundup the many outfits I’ve styled them with!

Cut Off Denim Shorts
SHOP DENIM SHORTS
It can be tricky to find the right pair of denim cut off shorts. I personally like them to be slightly distressed, but not over done, to stay in place and cover the backside. These Agolde shorts not only check all the boxes but are super cute too. While a bit of an investment for shorts, I’ve worn them to death the last few years, so the cost per wear is super reasonable. I love that I can easily throw them on with a tee and sandals and I’m ready to walk out the door!
