Over the years I’ve refined my style to a mix of classic and on-trend pieces, with a flair for feminine fashion. I notice that anytime I gravitate away from this, those items usually end up in the donate pile. I love small feminine details like an eyelet trim, a puff sleeve, or even a well-placed bow. These subtle touches make all the difference in the overall look and feel of the pieces. While I will venture out and try new trends, I still like to stick with light color palettes, dainty florals, and all things feminine. Anytime I’m looking to refresh my wardrobe, there are a few places I always check first. I’m sharing the best feminine stores to shop at for feminine style below, along with a few of my favorite pieces!

Hopefully, this guide can help serve as a resource so that you can have that same feeling.
Feminine Online Boutiques
Starting off with a few of my go-to brands! Pieces here typically sell out quickly, so if you’re eyeing something I wouldn’t leave it in your cart for too long.
Petal + Pup
If I were to pick out my favorite pieces in my wardrobe, I wouldn’t be surprised if half the items I selected were from Petal + Pup. They have a beautiful selection of feminine clothes and are one of my go-to stores, especially for pretty dresses under $100. You can watch all my Petal + Pup try-on hauls on my youtube channel here for outfit ideas!
Red Dress Boutique
Another favorite boutique of mine, Red Dress Boutique, has a huge selection of clothing for anyone looking for feminine pieces to add to their wardrobe. They are another great place to browse for dresses for both casual wear and events. Most of their pieces are under $100, but they also carry feminine designers such as LoveShackFancy, Cleobella, and MINKPINK.
& Other Stories
Somehow this brand is fairly new to me, but it is very in line with my style! They have different designers from around the world that bring a different style to the retailer, but they have designers in Paris (swoon) that design beautiful feminine and romantic pieces. I love to browse their sweaters, coats, and classic accessories. They have a very sustainable mindset and sourcing practices, too.

Romantic Clothing Stores
If you’re on the hunt for pieces such as pleated midi skirts, feminine floral dresses, or tulle gowns, these are the clothing stores for you!
Morning Lavender
This is a smaller online boutique that is based out of California. If you’re wanting more casual pieces that are consistently feminine, this boutique is for you! They are known for their maxi dresses and skirts, and sweet details. You’ll see a lot of bows, florals, and pearl-trimmed pieces. Everything is under $100 on their website. They usually have a good selection for everyday pieces or if you’re looking for something to wear for a wedding, date night, or family photos! I wore a dress from here in my maternity photos.
Rachel Parcell
Rachel Parcell originally started out as a blogger. Her personal brand grew into the clothing line, Rachel Parcell, which is now carried in department stores like Nordstrom and SAKS! I love that I can count on her line for a perfect mix of on-trend feminine pieces. Her line is my go-to when I have an event or special occasion. She also has a great selection of home decor that make the best gifts.
Ivy City Co
This brand carries dresses exclusively and is also a great retailer for nursing-friendly options. If you’re into mommy-and-me looks, they also carry matching dresses for littles, too. You can count on them for soft floral patterns, midi dresses, and ruffle details that are just darling!

Affordable Feminine Clothing Stores
These are some of my favorite affordable stores that carry pretty, chic finds under $100.
H&M
H&M carries some funky, on-trend pieces but also has a wide selection of feminine pieces to love. I always find cute floral dresses here during the spring and summer.
LULUS
Lulus has a wide selection of feminine clothing from wedding guest dresses, shoes, accessories, and everyday styles. Everything is usually affordably priced under $100, too! I often find a lot of look-for-less options here to some of my favorite designer shoes.
Chicwish
I always find really beautiful feminine dresses and tops here. From bow details, to tulle skirts, and floral dresses, this is a great place to browse if you’re looking for something romantic to add to your wardrobe. You can always find an additional coupon here, too!
J.ING
I recently started shopping at this retailer and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and overall price. Their selection airs more on the classic and modern side. If you want more trendy pieces, but don’t want to invest a ton of money, this brand is perfect. It reminds me of an H&M, but more elevated.
LC Lauren Conrad
For a more laid-back approach to feminine style, LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls has an affordable selection of feminine dresses, tops, and accessories for a more effortless, everyday look.

Retailers That Carry Feminine Clothing Brands
If you love shopping at department stores for their convenience and reward points, you can definitely still find some of my favorite brands.
Revolve
Some of my favorite brands to shop at Revolve are For Love & Lemons, Tularosa, and Faithful the Brand. Their pieces are typically going to be more of an investment, but the quality is great! I love that they have a variety of brands and styles to choose from, and the shipping is super quick. You can find really unique pieces here, and it’s a go-to of mine for vacations and events when I want something unique and memorable.
Shopbop
Shopbop carries a large selection of different brands and is typically on the pricier side, but I love to browse their selection for special pieces to elevate my wardrobe or for a special event. Some of my favorite retailers carried there are Loeffler Randall, Zimmermann, WAYF, ASTR the Label, Needle and Thread, and Rebecca Taylor. I wore a dress from Needle and Thread for our pregnancy announcement and the dress was worth every penny! I always look through their fashion finds under $200, too.
Nordstrom
I have been shopping at Nordstrom for years now. They have a wide variety of brands with varying price points. A few of my favorites are ASTR the Label, Endless Rose, English Factory, Rachel Parcell, and Lulus. I just discovered Free The Roses which is another feminine brand to shop a Nordstrom. The majority of the core pieces that I’ve invested in over the years have been from Nordstrom (I share my most worn Nordstrom items, here). I also love shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale each year!
ASOS
Asos carries a lot of different brands and I find it a little overwhelming to navigate unless I’m searching for something specific like “bow dress” for example, but I need to get more familiar with it because they have some cute feminine brands and quick shipping! Some that I’ve come across include Lace and Beads and & Other Stories.

Feminine Workwear Brands
Ann Taylor
For workwear, Ann Taylor has a great classic selection of feminine pieces. I used to shop more at LOFT, but their selection has changed a bit in the last year in my opinion. Ann Taylor is a bit more mature than LOFT and the overall quality is much higher. I like to catch them when they are doing a sale, usually around the holidays!
Express
I stopped shopping at Express in college because everything was neon or black and it just wasn’t my style anymore. However, they have made a huge comeback in my wardrobe since 2020. They have a beautiful selection of neutral and blush tones and you can find several tops with details like swiss dots, ruffles, and eyelet fabric. I love shopping at Express for workwear, elevated loungewear, and basics.
LOFT
You can typically find stunning details such as ruffle necklines, swiss dots, and pleated skirts that work great for both the office and weekend wear at LOFT.
J.Crew
Both J.Crew and J.Crew Factory are great places to look when building classic pieces for your wardrobe. They have a good mix of everyday basics and workwear pieces, and they often have sales, too!

Feminine Designer Brands
These feminine designer brands are quite the splurge, but oh so fun for a special treat!
Kate Spade
While they do carry a selection of feminine clothing, Kate Spade really shines in the accessories department. I love to browse their selection of purses and jewelry for a fun touch to finish off an outfit.
ZIMMERMANN
ZIMMERMANN is an Australian brand with a beautiful mix of boho, and feminine styles. I adore their selection of dresses and shorts for a warm summer holiday. I own a pair of white linen shorts, and it’s one of my favorite pieces to style during the summer.
Needle and Thread
I adore their selection of special occasion dresses. You can usually find embellished gowns, flowy floral dresses, and tulle skirts depending on what you’re looking for. From what I’ve tried they typically run smaller, so if you’re in between I would recommend sizing up!
LoveShackFancy
The ultimate feminine girl has to browse LoveShackFancy. They carry everything from dresses, accessories, and home in the most feminine floral prints. If you’re ever near a store, you also must stop in to see their gorgeous displays.
Ted Baker
You can always find a beautiful selection of pastels, bows, and elegant silhouettes at Ted Baker.
BHLDN
If you’re shopping for a wedding as a bride, mother of the bride, or wedding guest for a more formal affair, I recommend browsing BHLDN. They have such a pretty, feminine selection of dresses and accessories.
