Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas 2018
This may be the outfit I wear this Thanksgiving, but we will see! I love this herringbone ruffle skirt more than I expected. The ruffle detail is frilly but still flattering. The seam runs along my butt so it feels shorter than it is. I like to pair taller boots with shorter hemlines to balance out the legs. I love this pair from Sam Edelman but they’re unfortunately sold out!
I’m loving H&M’s current collection, as you may be able to tell from previous fashion posts. This chunky sweater and scalloped skirt are both recent purchases from there. I love black and camel together for Fall. Instead of pairing it with my usual leopard, I added a gingham blouse under the sweater to bring in more pattern. I love how it turned out!
I need to exchange this dress for an XS, I recommend sizing down if you have a narrow waist. I love the subtle ruffle detail at the shoulder to give it some extra personality. I love pairing stripes and leopard together, so I accessorized with my favorite leopard clutch.
Again with this pink corduroy skirt, I’ve been wearing it a ton this season! I’ve seen a lot of heart sweaters and cardigans lately, but I love this one is a little more subtle. I paired the look with my favorite affordable booties, they’ve been featured in every try on haul this Fall 2018 season!
I wasn’t sure this sweater dress would work as a dress or a long tunic, but the slit on the side is still appropriate for a dress. It’s on the shorter side (I’m 5″5 by the way) so I paired it with taller boots. I need to add a longer necklace under the cowl neck to complete this look.
I dressed down the chunky sweater and paired it with jeggings and flats. I’m not a big fan of pants on Thanksgiving for obvious reasons, but if you feel most comfortable in jeans I recommend a jegging! This is my favorite affordable pair, and I recommend sizing down in them for a slimming effect. I would layer a basic striped top under the sweater for a fun pattern mix with the leopard. These leopard flats were featured in my Walmart try on haul.
Here’s to the girls who love to dress up for Thanksgiving. I love how trendy feminine pleated skirts are this season. Pair it with a fitted sweater, like this one with a ruffle turtleneck detail, or dress it down with a chunky sweater over top. I originally had a blush open toe heel with this look, but felt a closed toe option was more appropriate for the season. I love this designer dupe for less!
I’m again wearing a jegging option, this time even more dressed down with a few distressing details. I raved about this striped turtleneck top in my Spanx leather leggings video, and I’m still loving it now! It’s thicker so you don’t have to worry about your dark pants showing through.
