I’m debunking a BIG fashion myth today! Are you ready? You can wear white jeans all year round! 🙂 OK – maybe it’s not that big of a myth, but I still think it’s a misconception in the fashion world. I’m here to tell you you don’t have to put your white jeans away for the fall and winter. There are many ways to make your white jeans look and feel wintery. Today we’re talking all about how to wear white jeans after labor day and avoid them collecting dust for half the year.
For more how-to posts, I have an entire section on my blog on how to style different pieces in your wardrobe.

Pair white jeans with Boots
Trade your sandals and wedges for booties and boots to wear with your white jeans. Just like you would with your typical denim-colored jeans, you can pair your favorite booties, knee-high or even over-the-knee boots with white jeans. A fun animal print like snakeskin shakes things up and gives your outfit a fun take to your typical neutral bootie. You could also wear white booties for a monochromatic look. I talk all about how to style white booties in this post here.
Layer with a Cardigan, Shacket or Ruana
To add a wintery feel to your white-jean outfit, consider adding a cardigan, shacket or ruana. These pieces are perfect to wear throughout the fall and winter seasons because they keep you warm and are on-trend. A bodysuit, tee shirt or turtleneck pairs nicely with them to complete the outfit.
I wore the outfit pictured above when we were in Highlands, NC. It’s a perfect look to go wine tasting, out to lunch or shopping around town. If you’re pairing your white jeans with booties, you don’t have to wear skinny jeans or jeggings with them. Have fun with different styles, like mom jeans, cropped ankle pants or a raw-hem jean.

Wear white jeans with a Sweater
One of my fall uniforms is denim with a chunky sweater and booties. It’s an easy look to throw on for casual outings and parties. I love mixing this look up with white jeans. You can pair a chunky sweater with white jeans and do a simple front tuck to the sweater. I finished the outfit in the above picture with mules, which are another great shoe option to wear with white jeans in the fall.
If you have a thin sweater, you could easily tuck the sweater in around the waistline for a more structured look to go out for date night. A plaid boyfriend tunic or flannel shirt with white jeans is a great option to wear to a fall party or going to the pumpkin patch. Finish the look with a felt fedora hat.
Aside from white jeans, you could also wear white trousers to work throughout the fall and winter too. For a fresh spin on a holiday party look, pair wide-leg white trousers with a silk blouse and pumps.
The options are endless when it comes to white jeans. They’re fun to style all year long and a great alternative to black or denim-colored jeans. #teamwhitejeansallyear
