Last year, I purchased the Chanel ballerina flats. They’re a classic color combination of beige and black and look effortlessly chic with a variety of looks. However, most Chanel pieces are quite pricey compared to some other designers. If you love the look of these timeless flats, today I’m rounding up the Chanel ballerina flats look for less.

How to Wear Chanel Ballerina Flats Look for Less
What I love about this classic shoe silhouette and color combo is that they pair well with different outfits. From jeans to dresses, these flats can be worn with workwear and casual wear.
The design of these shoes was carefully considered. The subtle heel helps to lengthen the leg, while the black cap toe makes the foot appear smaller. Genius right?
Below are different ways to style the Chanel ballerina flats look for less. In this roundup, I included both a ballet flat and a slingback. The slingbacks are a more elevated silhouette compared to the flat. However, they’re just as versatile because they can be worn with jeans and dresses too.
Chanel Ballet Flats Review
Chanel is one of my favorite luxury designers because they are known for their timeless, classic styles. In comparison to other luxury designers, their designs will work in my wardrobe years down the line, which is why I feel like..

Black Pencil Pants with a Layered Sweater
This business casual look layers a white button-down over a cashmere sweater. The slingbacks lengthen the legs with the heel and the pointed toe. Each piece in this outfit could be mixed and matched with a variety of different items in your closet. Nix the cashmere sweater and pair the button-down with wide-leg trousers to wear with the slingbacks later in the week.
Black Trousers with a Blazer
These Spanx work pants have a little bit of a wider opening at the end of the leg, but still, fall right around the ankle. This allows the slingbacks to truly shine. I layered a white blazer over a pink blouse for the perfect color combo for the spring.
Straight Jean with a Coatigan
This outfit is a great example of how slingbacks can be paired with a more casual, effortless look. These straight jeans hit right at the ankle, making them the perfect pant to pair with this shoe option. Layer a coatigan over a neutral blouse, and you have the perfect outfit to wear shopping or to go to lunch.
Black Trousers with a Coatigan
The next few outfits style the ballet flat. One of the things I love most about these Chanel flats is that they provide a good amount of toe coverage compared to other ballet flats I’ve worn. And I’ve found that most look-for-less options also do the same thing. This makes the shoes more comfortable and more supportive to wear throughout the day. This J.Crew coatigan is a great piece to have in your closet to pair with workwear looks and casual outfits.
Black Pencil Pants with an Oversized Sweater
This outfit styles black pencil pants with an oversized tunic sweater. When you’re wearing an oversized sweater, I like to wear a more fitted pant to give balance to the overall outfit. You could wear this to work, happy hour, or other casual events on the weekend too.
Neutral Dress with a Coatigan
The flats look equally gorgeous with a little black dress. I opted to layer the J.Crew coatigan over the top of the dress, but you could also pair a blazer or denim jacket with it. You can use my code AMANDAJOHNxSPANX for 10% off your entire purchase at Spanx.
Skinny Jeans with a Tunic Top
This final look is both sophisticated and casual. If you’re looking for a weekend uniform to wear this spring, this is it. I love the pearl-button detail on the white tunic to give it a more elevated look. Then paired the tunic with skinny jeans.
The Chanel ballet flats or the look-for-less option are truly the only flats you need in your closet. They’re timeless, have a comfortable design, and pair well with any outfit in your closet.
