Wearing pretty, flowy dresses and skirts throughout the summer season is my go-to, but there’s also something I really love about a good pair of shorts. With warm weather in most places throughout the summer, shorts are easy to grab to keep you cool and comfortable. They’re also very versatile because you can dress them up or down. The top you choose to wear with your shorts sets the tone of your look as to whether it’s dressy or casual. Although I love my denim Agolde shorts, the shorts you wear don’t have to be denim. The options are endless from the color to the length to the material. So, if you’re a dress lover like me who loves classic, feminine pieces, there are still shorts out there for you! Utility shorts are generally made of lightweight cotton, so they are very breathable. Breathable is all we care about on those hot summer days, right? I love this pair because they’re easy to wear with just about anything. I recommend pairing them with this cardigan sweater top and white sneakers for a simple, but put-together, look that’s perfect for everyday wear.

These stretch twill shorts have quickly become another personal favorite for this summer season. This blue pair comes in 6 different colors, so the options are endless! Personally, I plan on grabbing the black shorts as well. They have a 4-way stretch design and are easy to pull on and off.
