I’m not normally one to experiment too much with new beauty products, but something about the start of the spring season has me feeling inspired to give some new beauty finds a try. Now that our days are longer and we’re spending more time outside, it’s important to use products that protect, moisturize, and overall improve the health of our skin. Today, I’m excited to share some new spring beauty buys that I’m currently loving with you, all of which are quickly becoming staples in my everyday routine. From hair care to self-tanning and sun protection, these products are all made with clean, high-quality ingredients that are both effective and good for the longevity of your hair and skin. So, let’s jump in and take a closer look!

New Spring Beauty Buys I’m Currently Loving

Amika the Kure intense bond repair hair mask

At first, I was nervous about adding something like a mask to my hair care routine because I thought that adding too much conditioner to my fine hair would make it feel heavy. However, after giving this hair mask a try I can say that it has completely transformed the health of my hair over the past year! It’s not too heavy for my hair type at all, and in fact, I even recommend giving it a try specifically if you have fine hair. But even if you have thicker hair, or you land somewhere in the middle, this hair mask is a great addition to any hair care routine for repairing damage.

Summer Fridays lip butter balm

This lip butter balm from Summer Fridays has honestly become one of my go-to lip products lately. Definitely one of the best lip balms I’ve tried in a while. It’s incredibly hydrating on your lips while still giving them some shine and color. It’s made with shea and murumuru seed butter that acts as natural moisturizers for your lips. Summer Fridays is a clean beauty brand as well, so you can feel good about using this one – especially if you have sensitive skin!

st. tropez self tan express bronzing mousse

This self-tan express bronzing mousse from St. Tropez is one of my go-to’s for a customizable tan. Initially, I wasn’t a big fan because I felt like I just showered it off with the recommended 3-hour wear time. But if you sleep in it overnight it works so well! With this mousse, the longer you wear it, the deeper the bronze you’ll have. Wear it for one hour for a light sunkissed glow, two hours for a medium golden tan, or three hours for a deeper, darker bronze. It’s truly as simple as that! It’s streak-free, easy to apply, quick-drying, non-sticky with no transfer, ultra-hydrating, and doesn’t have that typical self-tan smell.

bondiboost root boost volume powder

If you have fine hair, this BondiBoost Root Boost Volume Powder is pure magic! I actually use this product in place of texturizing spray on my hair because it works better. I find that most texture sprays end up leaving my hair feeling heavier and sticky after using, but this volume powder is the opposite. Because this is a powder instead of a spray, you can work it into your hair with as much or as little product as you want, allowing you to achieve a customized look without the weighed-down feel.

Kiehl’s Facial Sunscreen

For a strong, long-lasting facial sunscreen to protect your skin during the spring and summer months, you have to try this sunscreen from Kiehl’s. This one offers SPF 50+ coverage, plus it’s made with collagen and anti-aging ingredients to protect and take care of your skin while you wear it. It’s a lightweight cream, so it’s great for wearing underneath makeup.

Make up for ever lip liner

This lip liner from Make Up For Ever, specifically in the shade “Wherever Walnut”, has become a staple in my makeup routine. It’s a stick formula with a matte finish that is long-wearing. This pencil is easily blendable and can be used on more than just your lips. It could also be used on your brows, eyes, and even your face as contour. This liner is an all-in-one product!
