I can’t believe it’s already the end of July and it’s time to round up my monthly favorites! Here are the stand-out favorites from the month, from my most worn fashion items, to new beauty products I’m loving, and everyday lifestyle favorites I reach for daily.

Fashion favorites

This Amazon set is so effortless for summer. I’m packing it with me for Texas next week, too! I got my normal size small. You can browse my Amazon storefront here!

These are my favorite daily undergarments and I shop them every year in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I love them because they are so comfortable and seamless, you never feel like the sides are digging into you. They’re also very stretchy and one size fits most.

I’ve been living in tennis skirts this month for walks and mom life around the house. Don’t forget to use code AMANDAJOHNxSPANX at checkout to save! You can see all my promo codes at the bottom of this page.

Smocked Midi Dresses

I’ve mentioned this style of dress in my last 2 monthly favorites, but it’s what I continue to reach for this summer! My favorite is this white eyelet dress from Hill House. It’s so flattering and comfortable to wear in or out of the home. This is another favorite is this affordable option on Amazon. I have the blue gingham print and it has the same shape as my favorite Hill House dress for less.

Ugg Slippers

I know it’s the middle of summer, but I’ve worn these slippers daily since getting them in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Just a heads up sizes are starting to run low on them

Spanx Bra

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared this bra, but it’s still a favorite of mine a year later! It’s a hybrid bra that has a stretchy band and strap (similar to a bralette) but has the full support of a wired bra (without the discomfort!). I also love the front clasp closure, it’s so much easier to secure! I even wore these while nursing.

Beauty Favorites

I’ve been really focused on stepping up my skin and hair routines the past few months, trying to get them as healthy and hydrated as possible! I’ve been working on trying to get rid of KP on my arms, but it’s been a pretty slow process. I cut out dairy, have been exfoliating multiple times a week, and use moisturizer day and night on that area. We’ll see if it decides to clear up one of these days!

Leave in conditioner

I am obsessed with this hair product. Since using it I can tell my hair is healthier, but it also feels thicker and properly moisturized. I’ve been really into hair health the last few months trying to get it as healthy as possible, and I know this is playing a key role in that.

Speaking of hair, I’m loving my new shorter hair! I chopped about 2.5 inches in length off and it feels so healthy. I’d love to grow it out a bit while maintaining the thickness on the ends, but we’ll see.

Coconut Hair Treatment

Another new addition to my healthy hair routine is doing a pre-shampoo oil treatment. I typically slather my hair in this coconut oil the morning I plan to wash my hair and let it soak in a few hours. You can do it at night it you would prefer, just protect your pillow case in the process!

New nail color

I always go for a pinky-white shade so this isn’t too far out of my comfort zone, but I recently switched up my at-home polish color to Orly Kiss the Bride. It’s such a pretty light pink that works well on fair skin tones. I usually do 3 coats because I like it to show more opaque.

Sunscreen

This has been my go-to sunscreen this summer. I love the consistency and it wears really well under makeup.

Kiehls Lotion

I’ve used this product for so many years, but I wanted to highlight it since it’s currently 30% off in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I use this anytime I get out of the shower or before self-tanning in dry areas like knees and elbows. It’s hydrating, without being greasy. I love that it’s fragrance free so it won’t clash with your perfume or smell too strong.

Lifestyle Favorites

This month I started working out with Tim and adding in more strength training to my routine. I haven’t lifted since PT school, but it’s nice to mix up my routine and try something new. To go along with that, I’ve also been prioritizing getting in 10,000 steps each day and starting my morning with a nice long walk outside before it gets too hot. Here are some of the everyday favorites I’ve been loving this month.

Apple Watch

I started wearing this mid-July and I can confidently say it’s helping me stay more active. It’s very motivating to close my rungs for the day and to set step goals and beat them.

Box Cutter

I use this box cutter almost daily to open packages. This one has a strong ceramic blade so you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself with a super sharp blade.

Electrolytes

My functional medicine doctor recommended I drink electrolytes daily before lunch to help with stress and just overall balance. This is the brand Tim and I love!

New Home Project Complete

Our latest house project has quickly become my favorite spot in the house! I’m currently writing this post sitting here sipping on coffee. Now that the rug arrived, it’s feeling so much more complete! The only thing left is to get in the white curtains I ordered a few months ago. They are supposed to arrive next week. I moved our round coffee table from the living room up here and I love how the tabletop decor ties in the marble and gray decorative details on the bookshelves.

Things I’m looking forward to in August

Next week I’m heading to Texas to see my brother graduate from Airforce boot camp. It’s going to be a quick trip, but I’m excited to see him and get some quality family time!

Later in the month, I’m heading to Jackson Hole with the Toyota team and I’m so excited to spend a few days with my bestie and relax in the beautiful state of Wyoming. I know it’s going to be such a fun adventure and I’m excited to bring y’all along with me on Instagram.

This week I started our next home project, our primary closet! While I know this is going to be a lengthy project, I’m excited to get the ball rolling to design my dream closet.
