It’s safe to say the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale got me into the fall-fashion spirit. I’m ready for the chunky sweaters, the cute booties, cozy coats and all the denim. Though it doesn’t quite feel like fall, it isn’t stopping me from getting my wardrobe ready for the cooler temperatures the fall season brings. Today, I’m rounding up some of my favorite fall fashion from Nordstrom Made brands.
Fall Fashion from Nordstrom Made Brands
Over the years of running a fashion blog, I’ve found some pretty amazing workwear pants. But I have to say these everyday skinny ankle pants definitely top the list as some of the best. They have the most incredible stretch yet hold their shape at the same time. They have a hidden back zipper and hit right at the ankle, so you could wear flats, mules or booties with them. They’re pure magic, and I’d recommend getting them in every color. I’m wearing a size 6 and they run TTS.
This floral drawstring waist top has a gorgeous vintage floral print in a pretty rustic red color by Treasure & Bond. It’s perfect to wear to work with the khaki ankle pants or a pencil skirt. You could also wear it more casually with denim jeans and boots for an effortlessly-chic fall look.
What I love about Nordstrom is that they carry a wide variety of brands to make shopping convenient for their customers. Some of my favorite brands are Nordstrom Made. These brands are exclusive to Nordstrom such as Caslon, Chelsea28 and Zella. The Nordstrom Made brands design for women, men and children and also carry home goods. Some of the top brands I recommend all year long are Nordstrom Made because they’re always on-trend, high-quality pieces.
Over the Knee Boots
These over-the-knee boots from Treasure & Bond make such a fun fashion statement. I like pairing them with leggings or skinny denim jeans and an oversized sweater. You could also wear with a dress and accessorize with a felt hat. They come in black and brown too. They’re very comfortable to walk in especially with the block heel. You can also scrunch them down to get a different look out of the boot, and they have a relaxed structure to them so they don’t fall down below the knee. I usually size up a half in all boots but with these they run more true to size.
Plaid is quintessential fall. I love this version of a plaid shirt because it’s not too heavy and has a good amount of length to wear with both jeans and leggings. It also comes in a pretty navy color. This is a great casual look to wear apple or pumpkin picking or to a casual fall party. It has tunic style buttons so if you’re looking for nursing friendly options, this one checks the box!
Wool Felt Hats
This wool felt hat is one of my favorite fall accessories to wear all season long. It elevates any outfit, whether you’re wearing denim and a sweater or a maxi dress. I love the thick, contrasting band for added interest. If you want the hat to have a nice flat brim, I recommend giving it a quick steam. I also love this Rancher Hat by Treasure & Bond. It has a thinner band around it, and it looks a bit more casual than the first wool hat.
Recycled Cashmere Ruana
This lightweight ruana is a great transitional piece from summer to fall. Layer it over a dress like I did here or pair it with a basic tee and denim jeans. A ruana is a great staple piece to have in your wardrobe because it’s versatile with what you were it with. This specific ruana is a blend of recycled and new cashmere, and comes in five other colors.
Cardigan and V-Neck Tunic
This v-neck tunic by Halogen is another great basic for fall. You can wear alone with leggings or denim or as a layering piece under cardigans. It comes in four other colors as well. I also picked it up in white and these basics are always worn on repeat during the fall season. Speaking of cardigans, button front cardigans are an easy casual piece to throw on for running errands. You can also easily dress them up for work and pair with ankle pants or trousers.
