Thank you to Walmart+ for sponsoring today’s post!
This year Tim and I are hosting my parents for Christmas morning breakfast. Growing up I always looked forward to this because my Mom would bake cinnamon rolls as we went through our stockings then we would eat breakfast while anxiously waiting to open presents. It’s going to be such a memorable morning with Josie being here to experience the holiday with us this year. I’m planning to keep the menu easy and simple and add festive elements to the tablescape. Today, I’m sharing 3 quick and easy Christmas recipes in case you, too, are hosting a holiday breakfast in your future.
What makes these recipes even simpler is that all the ingredients are going to be sent right to my doorstep for free thanks to my Walmart+ membership. If you haven’t heard about the amazing benefits of Walmart+ from your friends or family yet, let me spill the beans to you (pun intended)!

3 Quick and Easy Christmas Recipes
I want to keep things fuss-free on Christmas morning. My focus is going to be spending time with our family and savoring Josie’s first Christmas. So these recipes are all relatively quick and easy and can even be prepped ahead of time the night before.
breakfast casserole
My Mom would always make classic eggs and toast, but I want to mix it up with a breakfast casserole recipe I found in the Magnolia cookbook. You can substitute any type of vegetables and meat you enjoy, which is what makes a breakfast casserole so good! If you want to prep ahead you can brown the sausage and cut the veggies the night before. Then in the morning, just toss the ingredients together, and you’re ready to go.
nutella christmas tree
I kept seeing this recipe all over TikTok and I thought it was simple but so festive! Plus..I can’t pass up on Nutella, it’s so yummy! I shared making this recipe on my Instagram stories and although it was a bit of a mess getting the final result, it was well worth it! I think it would be even better sprinkled with some cinnamon sugar on top and served with strawberries and Nutella on the side to dip it in.
french toast casserole
This recipe looks so delicious and is something you can prep ahead of time the night before to make for a quick and easy breakfast the next morning. Just pop it in the over as you’re opening presents. I would serve this breakfast with strawberries and blueberries for something a little extra sweet.
holiday tablescape
Walmart has everything you need to jazz up your table to serve a meal. From gorgeous dinnerware to silverware and anything in between, you can create a Pinterest-worthy table with ease. It would even be cute to have having a coffee, hot chocolate, or mimosa station set up on Christmas morning. This bar cart is also beautiful if you’re planning to host a lunch or dinner for the holidays.
