We’ve seen our fair share of jean trends come and go over the years. I think we all remember the head to toe jean ensemble that Britney and Justin wore back in 2001. But luckily, those cringe worthy trends are behind us and here to stay are some of my favorites! I’ve partnered up with Express, my go-to store for great quality denim to bring you 3 denim trends that are here to stay. And I have to say, I’m here for all three!

4 Denim Trends That Are Here to Stay
No. One: Raw Hem Jeans
I love the look of a raw hemline pair of denim. It gives your look a more relaxed and casual feel. Here I paired them with this neutral mask shirt. One of the most innovative items I’ve come across! When you don’t have the mask portion of the shirt pulled up, it looks like a loose turtle neck. Plus, the lux feel of the fabric gives it a dressier look, making it a perfect workwear staple (as seen here!).
The casual look of the raw hemline makes these jeans perfect for the weekend. You can easily cuff the bottom and pair them with comfortable sneakers, another trend I’ve been loving lately. Styled with this long belted cardigan, another versatile piece you can wear during the work week or on the weekend.

No. Two: High Waisted Jeans
Out of the 3 denim trends that are here to stay, this one might just be my favorite! I love a high waisted jean that will easily hide a little Taco Bell tummy. Plus, with a simple front tuck you can instantly elevate any outfit. Whether you gravitate towards skinny high waisted jeans, cropped or flare, the trend is here to stay!
This ribbed sweater is a great layering piece to wear under your winter coats now, but also transition into Spring with. You can tuck it into midi skirts, work pants, or styled it with lighter jeans as the weather warms up.

The flared jean has circled back every few years. This pair gives you amazing proportions (see them on here). If you want to style them casually with flats, I recommend getting a shorter inseam, whereas my regular inseam pairs perfectly with a heeled boot during Winter.

No. Three: Mom Jeans
This was one trend I was a little hesitant to get on board with initially. I have to admit, I liked my tried and true skinny jeans, and veering away from that seemed a little far fetched. But I love just how flattering they can be! If you’re looking for how to style your mom jeans I did a post about that here.

What do you think of these denim trends? I know speaking for myself I don’t ever plan to re-visit low rise jeans again 🙂
