Halloween has come and gone, which means the temperatures are really going to start feeling like fall. All those goodies we scored at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can finally be put to good use in the coming weeks. As the temperatures start to drop, we’re able to incorporate more layers and cozy pieces. In this month’s lookbook, I’m sharing 10 fall looks for every occasion, and how to incorporate layers into your looks with just a few easy steps.
Speaking of layers, blazers are a great staple piece for your fall and winter wardrobe. For the best blazers for fall, you’ll love this post here.
In case you didn’t know, each month I create a lookbook of curated outfit ideas. To view all 10 looks you can wear now from this month’s fall essentials lookbook, drop your name and email below!

Dressy Thanksgiving Look
Thanksgiving is coming up in about three weeks, so why not plan out your outfit now. If your family or friends like to dress up for the holiday, this would be a chic look to wear. The warm tones are perfect to wear throughout the fall and winter. Though this look is dressier, the dress is still comfortable to wear when you’re eating a big meal on Thanksgiving because it’s stretchy throughout. This would even be a great bump-friendly option. Finish the look with neutral knee-high boots and a crossbody bag.

Black Friday + Cyber Monday Shopping Look
Following Thanksgiving, it’s go-time for finishing up (or starting) Christmas shopping. Be prepared with a comfortable and chic outfit. Whether you prefer to shop in-store on black Friday or online for Cyber Monday, these two looks will keep you cozy and comfortable to knock out your list and check it twice.

Holiday Travel Look
If you’re traveling for the holidays, dressing in layers is best. You never know if the airport or airplane will be hot or cold. The chenille legging-friendly cardigan is great to layer over a turtleneck or long sleeve t-shirt. Finish the look with white denim jeans and mules. Mules are perfect to wear in the airport because you can slip them on and off through security easily and efficiently. And best of all, they’re stylish – win, win! To carry all your essentials, opt for a tote bag like this quilted shopper. It’s easy to pack away in a suitcase too, when you’re not carrying it.

Family Photos Look
If you’re planning to take family photos for holiday cards, either of these two looks would be perfect. The mauve satin dress would work well for a soft color palette with creams, navy blues or champagnes. Finish the look with my favorite pair of nude pumps and stud earrings. If you’re using more classic Christmas colors for your photos, the plaid skirt and white blouse is gorgeous combo. Finish the look with knee-high boots and simple earrings.
