I wore this look for Day 2 of The Blog Societies Conference (TBScon) at Avalon. I can’t wait to share a full recap and some insights to what I learned about the industry. I met some of the sweetest girls and I’m leaving so inspired, but more on that later this week!
Shein Top
I placed a last minute order at Shein which is always a risk but I ended up with so many cute and affordable pieces! This flower applique shein top is only $16 and makes such a fun statement. Everyone at the conference was complimenting it! Shein is hit or miss, but when the prices are what they are it’s worth a try. I’m wearing a medium but I definitely could have used a small. I usually order a medium to be safe because some of their sizes are tiny.
Valentino Dupes
I discovered these Valentino dupes a few years ago and I still reach for them when I need a neutral but fun shoe! They look like the real deal but are a tenth of the price. These heels come in multiple colors and the store even offers dupes of the sandals and flats if heels aren’t practical for you. I want to get these heeled sandals eventually! For the conference, I brought along an extra pair of comfortable shoes because I didn’t think I would last in these all day, but I actually did! I wore them from about 7 to 4. I was sitting in workshops throughout the day, but there was plenty of walking between rooms, lunch, and my car to put them to the test. If you want to order any of these shoes, I recommend going up a half-size in the open toe shoes and a full size if the shoes have a pointed toe.
My pleated skirt has been a go-to of mine for years (also featured here and here). I’m linking a similar version below if you’re looking for one. Although you can’t see them here, I wore these Sugarfix earrings to complete the look! Sugarfix has been one of my go-to brands throughout the year for affordable and fun jewelry. Check back in this week to see what I learned from TBScon and see more looks from the conference!
