It’s hard to find a balance between a top being lightweight and not see through. I hate wearing a tank top underneath because it’s too warm in the summer months to wear extra layers, especially in the South! This embroidered top had just enough material and will be a great option throughout summer. I also appreciate the tops shape because it doesn’t cling to you and floats around your waist, which will definitely help to keep you cool! I have broader shoulders but didn’t have any issues with the cap sleeve. I’m wearing a size 4 and it runs true to size.

 I also want to mention my denim shorts in case you’re looking for a go-to summer pair. I’m not sure why I was hesitant to jump on the high waist trend, but I feel way more comfortable having extra coverage over my hips! I’m wearing a size 27 and the material is very stretchy. If you’re typically in between sizes, I would size down.
