The LOVESHACKFANCY x Target collection officially launched on June 6th. If you’re not familiar with LOVESHACKFANCY, they are known for their feminine, whimsical styles. Think over the top vintage floral prints, lace details, and soft pastel hues.

Target is encouraging people to shop online due to COVID-19, so inventory will likely be higher for online shopping. I’m expecting there to be restocks since online it says “temporarily out of stock” and I will definitely let you know when I see it on Instagram.

My personal favorite, and by far the most practical from the collection are the white dresses. They also give me a little Zimmermann vibe too!

SIZING:

The collection ranges from XXS-XXL and some run numerically from 0-22W

I found most pieces to run true to size. I can usually wear both a small and medium and had no issues with sizing in either. However, the numerical sizes did seem to run large, especially in the chest.

LOVESHACKFANCY typically runs on the shorter side, but for this collection, the mini dresses will have a little more length.

PRICE POINT

A typical LOVESHACKFANCY dress runs $400 and up, compared to the under $75 price point in the Target collection. Most pieces run $55-$65 in this collection.

QUALITY:

Most of the dresses for the Target collection are 100% cotton, which is typical for LOVESHACKFANCY designs. I haven’t tried a regular LSF dress to compare quality, but I recently ordered this dress on sale to try out and compare!

My first impression of the Target collection is the dresses are more in line with Target quality than the designer, especially for the price point.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

The pieces from the LOVESHACKFANCY x Target collection are great look for less options if you can’t splurge on a real piece. However, the quality of the collection is definitely more in line with Target brands.

The styles are geared towards feminine girly-girls, and not the most practical for daily wear for most people. I did feel like a Disney princess in quite a few of them, with the exaggerated puff sleeves.
