This past Friday Tim and I went to one of our favorite spots, Brooklyn Cafe.  

I was looking for black scalloped shorts for a few weeks, and it was my lucky day when I walked into Francescas and found this pair, in my size, on the “last chance to fabulous” rack, aka 40% off!

 I also picked up this top [actually Tim treated me to it] during their BOGO 50% sale. I mean those sleeves couldn’t be passed up. 

As you can see it was shining bright like a diamond when we shot these pictures before leaving. 

I couldn’t pass up a close-up on the sleeve detail.

You can’t visit Brooklyn Cafe without ordering these Artichoke hearts. Tim always has to remind me how to eat them, I feel like a kid asking “can I eat this part?”

After dinner, we went to Cafe Intermezzo, which is actually where we had our first date. 

You might think it took us forever to decide (this is just the cheese cake selection); however, after many attempts I have found my favorite.
