There’s something about feeling and looking your best for work that puts a little pep in your step. Whether your working from home, the office, or a hybrid, it’s nice to be able to feel confident in your workwear outfits. Today, I’m sharing a feminine workwear capsule wardrobe with lots of girly outfit ideas. The looks feature a lot of neutral colors, so that way you can mix and match these pieces to create a variety of outfits to get the best price per wear from each piece.
Below is the video I filmed for my YouTube channel featuring 40 business casual work outfits. This is a little different than my typical YouTube video because it’s more of a lookbook versus a typical try-on haul that you typically see on my channel. But in an effort to maximize the variety of outfits and keep length of the video to a minimum, I figured I would try this format out. I’m thinking of doing this format once a month. Pleated Pants

This first outfit is a stunner and a little unexpected with the fun, pleated pants. They’re a good mix of classic and on-trend. They have an elastic waistband, which is the ultimate comfort feature if you’re sitting behind a desk most of the day.
This white ruffle top is a great basic to wear alone or use as a layering piece under cardigans and blazers. I finished this look with my favorite-of-all-time neutral pumps. They’re comfortable and go with many different workwear looks.
Pink Ankle Pants

How fun are these pink ankle pants? They’re an understated pink, so they feel more like a neutral than a “colored” pant. I styled them two different ways to show that you can dress them up or style them a little more casual.
Classic Black Ankle Pants

If you’re looking for the perfect black ankle pants for work, I highly recommend this pair. They’re comfortable, great quality, and I Iove the slit detail on the back of each pant leg. You can get multiple looks with the blouse and pants by adding a cardigan or blazer and pair flats to complete the look.
Blazer

Let’s talk blazers! They’ve come a long way over the years, and now come in a variety of styles, fabrics and colors. The first picture features a cropped, tweed blazer with gold hardware. I love the texture of the tweed, and looks very designer for the price point.
The second picture features a white, boyfriend-style blazer with scalloped detailing. The scallops add such a fun twist on an otherwise classic blazer. I paired the ruffle long sleeve shirt from the first photo with this blazer.
Comfortable Work Flats

A sweater-blazer is a casual alternative to a traditional blazer. It feels more like a cardigan, but has the structure of a blazer. It’s the best of both worlds! I layered a comfortable bodysuit underneath, so it lays nicely tucked into the ankle pants.
These white loafers are one of my favorite flats ever. They’re comfortable, chic and a Gucci look-for-less.
Cardigan

A long cardigan is another capsule wardrobe staple to have in your workwear wardrobe. I think cardigans that aren’t too bulky and look streamlined are best for the workplace. You could pair the pink ankle pants with either one of these looks too!
Sweater Skirt

If you love wearing skirts to work, a sweater skirt is a great option for the winter and fall. They’re very comfortable to move around in and keep you a little extra warm because of the material. I love the little flare detail of this one for an extra feminine touch.
Knit Pullover

This knit pullover is finally back in stock and pairs well with ankle pants. I love that you can throw this over an outfit that you’ve worn to work recently and create an entirely new look with the addition of just one piece.
