What are your plans for Mother’s Day? Whether you’re going to brunch, having your mom over to your house or doing something else that she loves, this outfit would be perfect to wear. It’s not overly dressy, but feels a bit more elevated for a fun-filled day with your mama or other special women in your life.
Add a little pattern to the whole look with these adorable gingham sandals. I love how they aren’t too high of heel too, making them comfortable and chic.

This casual spring outfit is a great go-to look for BBQs, errands, lunch with your friends or vacation. A floral top is a must-have spring wardrobe piece to pair with denim shorts, white jeans, midi dresses or trousers for work. Finish the casual look with slide-on sandals.
For date nights throughout the spring and summer, the second look above is a fun option. Something about blue and white of this top reminds me of the Hamptons – very chic, yet understated. I love the tie-detail on each shoulder, allowing you to get a customized fit. Finish the look with a white block heel. The heel has a straw detail, making the sandals look and feel more like summer.

Do you have any travel plans this spring or summer? If so, here’s the perfect travel day outfit! I love the athletic dress and skirt trend recently because they’re comfortable to wear, yet make you feel put together. This skirt also features shorts underneath with a cell phone holder. This look is also great to wear on walks or for running errands.
I had to include the belt bag I’ve been raving about for the last several months. It’s just the most functional bag to bring with you when you just need the essentials and not a lot to weigh you down. I bring this on walks when we have Josie to carry her essentials in too.

If you’re going to a Derby party, wedding or both, I included these two looks plus a few more looks in this month’s lookbook for these types of events. You can’t go wrong with either one of these floral maxi dresses. The tiered structure of the first dress and the cute cutouts of the second dress are stunning. Pair them with a block strappy heel or a braided heeled sandal to complete these elegant outfits.

In May, we can’t forget about Memorial Day and graduations galore. Memorial Day is usually spent by a pool or lake, barbequing. But maybe not getting into said pool or lake yet because they’re generally freezing. But that doesn’t mean you can’t dress for the occasion. This one-shoulder bodysuit is perfect to pair with white denim jeans.
Graduation is the perfect time to wear a little white dress. Style with simple gold jewelry and a block heel to complete the look. You want to make sure the heel you wear is comfortable and easy to walk in too. 😉
May is jam packed with events as you could see from weddings to graduations, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day and everything in between. So it’s good to have a game plan for what you’re wearing to each event, so you aren’t scrambling last minute to find something. My hope is that this lookbook will inspire you to dress your best without feeling overwhelmed at the thought of what you’re going to wear.
