This is my first Walmart fashion try on haul post baby and I could not be more excited! August tends to be a pretty hot month fo us here in the South. And while I love all the fall preview clothes that are hitting the stores, I can’t resist the urge to want to stretch a summer a little longer. We spent so much of the first half of summer indoors with the arrival of sweet little Josie. You can read about how we are surviving month one here. However, we are starting to venture out more, which means I have the best excuse to come up with cute outfits and have a little fun with fashion again!

As you all know, my go-to retailer for affordable fashion is always Walmart. I love that I can order a variety of pieces that I can wear now and into fall! Most of these looks I’m styling for the warm days that we are having. However, with the switch of just a few pieces these can easily transition you into fall.

I’m not normally a huge graphic tee fan but I loved the color of this tee! And the message made me smile, ‘choose happy’. I paired it with denim cut off shorts and white slip on sneakers. This is the perfect casual summer look for running errands or chasing the kids around the backyard. I can see myself wearing this same graphic tee with leggings in the fall and a long cardigan!

Here I styled this ruffle sleeve top three ways! On the left, I paired it with cropped white denim and my favorite Sam Edelman Circus sandals for Walmart. These are a great Tory Burch look for less! The material on this blouse gives it a slightly dressy feel. When paired with black pants and flats, this is the perfect business casual work wear look. If you’re a teacher and on the hunt for easy and affordable work wear, I would also recommend these medallion flats. They rival the Tory Burch Minnie flats, but for a fraction of the price!

I could not wait to share these booties! The look of them reminds me of the very popular Steve Madden ones from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but for a fraction of the price at $35. I do recommend sizing up half a shoes size if you are in between sizes. Pair with denim shorts and a plaid top for a date night look. Once the temperatures drop, trade your shorts for jeans and you’re ready to stroll through apple orchards or go your local pumpkin patch!

I also loved the detailing on this off the shoulder top! The thick stretchy band allows it to stay on your shoulders without being uncomfortable. I love that the eyelet detail adding a girly touch, making it perfect for a girls night out look, or just brunch on the weekend, Pair with white jeans and wedges now and skinny jeans and mules later for a fall transitional look!
