Tim and I headed to Nashville for a weekend getaway and I wanted to round up what I packed and wore for the trip. I’ll have a full Nashville weekend travel guide up soon, so stay tuned if you want to see my recommendations for a short weekend trip. I’ll be sure to include the cute photo spots as well!
white ruffle top | beige stripe shorts | tan wedges | pink scalloped tank (also seen here) | white linen shorts (also seen here) | slide sandals | wrap bracelet
When packing for a trip I like to lay out my outfits so I know exactly how things will pair together. If you’re wondering about the clothes hanging on my clothing rack, I have a full dedicated page to the items here!
packing cubes | pink crossbody | green shorts | white sandals | blush tory burch miller sandals | makeup bags both old from Target | tan wedges
I also love these packing cubes to keep everything organized and save space in my luggage. I had a set from Amazon but found the zippers would easily bust if I tried to stuff them. These are so durable and can handle a lot of clothes!
seersucker off the shoulder dress (sized down to XS) | white sandals (Walmart find under $35) | pink crossbody | sunglasses (amazon prime!) | wrap bracelet
I wore this seersucker off the shoulder dress on the drive up to Nashville because I wanted to be comfortable but also cute. That way when we arrived we could go straight out and explore. I love traveling in dresses because no pants are always the best option for a long car ride. I’ve reached for these white sandals every weekend this Summer. They’re so comfortable!
ruffle top | beige striped shorts | tan wedges | pink crossbody | sunglasses (amazon prime!) | wrap bracelet
I wore this to coffee and brunch on Saturday. Both my top and bottom are from Target, which you can see in my recent Target try on haul. These wedges are comfortable enough to wear with a lot of walking, I haven’t had a single blister since taking them out of the box!
I wore this for lunch on Saturday. I first featured these white linen shorts in this Express try on haul. They do wrinkle easily but their comfort makes up for it! The blush scalloped cami is a must-have for summer. You can see it styled multiple ways in this try on haul.
Striped wrap dress (sized up to a M) | Ruffle wedges (Walmart find under $20!) | I wore these heels in Nashville with this dress
I ended up missing my opportunity to take a picture of this dress I wore for our date on Saturday night, but I found this one from a few months ago when I first got it! It’s a perfect dress for date night… comfortable but still flirty and fun!
I wore this for brunch and the ride home. These shorts are $35 at Walmart and are so comfortable! You can see they dressed up a little more in this outfit post.
