Sharing an updated decorated house tour today! I’ve definitely taken my time when it comes to decorating our house, and I feel like you home is truly never “done”. I’m always moving things around and adding to the space!
I like to shop for affordable home decor. I can splurge on a Chanel purse but for whatever reason I’m always scared to commit to house decor! I would say my home decor style is cozy southern living. I don’t love a lot of clutter so I try to keep it pretty simple. Most of our decor is neutral, but my favorite accent color is blues and greens.

entry decor
Our entry is a narrow hallway, but I was able to fit a neutral bench and a shiplap hanging organizer in the space. I use it often for packages going in and out of the home and it’s a place where guests can sit and remove their shoes.

entry table decor
This farmhouse entry table was from Hobby Lobby (similar here and here). I updated this space recently with items from the Threshold x Studio Mcgee collection, like this picture, limestone sculpture that would look great sitting on decorative books, and some faux greenery from Heart and Hand. I’m still looking for the right storage baskets that will fit under here, but for now I have a large pitcher that was a housewarming gift with a newlywed cookbook.

living room
Our neutral living room was the first space we focused on when moving in. Our couch was handed down to us from a friend and I added a white cover over top. It was supposed to be temporary, but 4 years later we will have it! I removed the back cushions and added euro shams to have a deeper seat.
I wanted a tufted ottoman because I love to prop my feet up. Lately we’ve been pulling it up to the couch at night while watching Netflix, and it’s so comfortable! I added a blanket and decorative wood tray with faux flowers to center the space. The gray tufted chair is a space I sit in often to edit videos. I also like to sit there after applying self-tanner so I don’t stain the white couch 😉
Our fireplace mantel decor was one of the spaces I recently switched up. I layered a neutral painting found at Homegoods with a gold frame from our one-year anniversary shoot. A tip to decorate a large mantel space it to break it down into triangles. I have one large triangle, with two smaller triangles on each side with two groups of three.

dining room
Our table was my parents when they first got married. I’d love to eventually get a large round farmhouse table, but for now, this one works. The chairs were purchased right before our wedding to use at our sweetheart table. For a simple centerpiece that didn’t take up a lot of room, I added a marble cake stand with a floral centerpiece. The square rug was very affordable on Amazon. It took a few days with books on it for it to lay flat, but I love the neutral colors and the price!
The farmhouse console will eventually move behind out couch in the living room one day, but I think it’s a very versatile piece! We have it in our dining room for now, but it would also work as an entry table or in your bedroom, too!

white kitchen
I just adore our white kitchen and finishes. We have a quartz countertop and marble backsplash. We enter through the garage most of the time, so the area with the wood tray became a messy catch-all for items and mail when we came in. Ever since I added this to the counter space, it’s stayed much cleaner!
One of my kitchen must-haves is this over the sink drying rack. It saves space on your island and seems much cleaner since things dry off over the sink! I recently bought this dutch oven, because even though I don’t cook Target told me I needed it. It makes for pretty decor on your stovetop!
