Happy New Year friends! I’m so excited to share my first lookbook of the year. It’s loaded with a variety of outfits from activewear to workwear and even a beach-getaway look. With over 15+ winter outfits for the new year, I hope you find something that inspires you. I know the New Year can sometimes feel overwhelming with everyone talking about new goals, resolutions etc. I too usually feel that way. But this year, instead of feeling overwhelmed about it all, my plan is to be more intentional about my goals. You can read all about it in this post here.
In case you didn’t know, each month I create a lookbook of curated outfit ideas. To view all the looks you can wear now from this month’s lookbook, drop your name and email below!

A few months ago, I talked about my postpartum fitness plan. I’m usually an all or nothing type person. But this time, I wanted to start slow and gradually work up to my goal. If you too are wanting to be more active in the new year, this month’s lookbook has a few different activewear options. Old Navy has some affordable and cute pieces, like this set. This longline bra has light support, so it would be great for taking walks or doing yoga. Additionally, it comes in a variety of colors from XS to 3X. If you enjoy more high-intensity workouts, I’ve got you covered in the lookbook too. 🙂

I’m seeing a lot of fresh color palettes at different retailers, and have to say I like what I’m seeing. For fall and leading up to the holidays, it’s fun to play around with deep colors like burgundy, hunter green and black. But once January hits, I like to freshen things up and add in lighter colors. That’s not to say I still don’t incorporate darker colors throughout the winter. It’s just nice to lighten things up a bit.
I included a workwear look that’s bump-friendly for all my expectant mamas. The first look features a beautiful blush pink sweater skirt, and paired it with a floral smocked top. It hits perfectly at the top of the skirt. You could also pair the skirt with a bodysuit and blazer. The second look features a cream shift dress that can be mixed and matched with a variety of other patterned cardigans and blazers. Mix it up to create different outfits using the same dress.

Why is it that after the holidays are over all I want is a beach vacation? Or at the very least for it to just be spring. If you are headed to the beach anytime soon, this is the perfect look to wear to the beach or pool. The only thing left to have is a good book and an umbrella drink. The pastel blues with the floral print is ultra chic paired with my favorite summer sandal.

Where are all my denim-jean lovers at? Both of these looks are great go-to outfits for casual events or everyday looks. I wanted to include a nursing-friendly blouse option, and love the way this one fits. You can unbutton to nurse and love the flattering smocked waist. What I love most about these looks is you can go from day to night with a quick change of shoes. You can pair sneakers with the first outfit just like I did with the second outfit. If you’re headed to dinner and don’t have time to stop at home, just change the sneakers to these gorgeous heels. Easy peasy!

Did I mention I was ready for spring? This dress gives me a glimmer of spring colors, but paired it with knee-high boots and a warm wool coat because #itsstillwinter. When it gets warmer, you can still continue wearing this dress. Just pair the dress with sandals instead. For makeup, I love Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick in the color Pillowtalk to wear all year round. It’s a great neutral color that looks beautiful on many different skin tones.
