This beautiful antique gold mirror from Anthropologie has been on my home wishlist for years, and once I finally saved up and caught it on sale, I finally pulled the trigger on it! I originally bought the 3ft antique mirror, but have since added the 6-foot floor and oversized 7-foot primrose mirror to our home… I’m clearly a fan so let’s talk about why!
Anthropologie Gleaming Primrose Mirror Review
The mirror comes in 3 colors: gold, silver, and antique black. All three colors have an antique/brassy finish to them. It has beautiful detail throughout the trim and a pretty rich weight to it. The silver has been out of stock for a few months but I haven’t got confirmation from Anthropologie if it’s been discontinued at this time.
What size mirror should I get?
The Anthropologie primrose mirror comes in 5 sizes: 3ft, 5ft, 7ft, 6ft floor, and a 28-inch bathroom cabinet. I have the 3ft mirror in our bedroom leaning on a dresser, and it’s the perfect size for over a fireplace or on top of a vanity. I think the size it’s very versatile and I love that I can move it between a few rooms when I want to change it up.
The 5ft mirror would be a great statement piece in the dining room or fireplace in a larger room with higher ceilings. It’s a little too short to use as a floor mirror unless you plan to angle it up on the floor, but I would recommend the 6ft floor sized mirror if you want to use it as a floor mirror.
The 7ft mirror is a very large statement piece that would look great in your bedroom or used as a floor mirror throughout your house. It’s heavy (200lbs!) and very wide, so it’s not something I would move around throughout your house often. I use this mirror in my filming room and I love that you won’t be able to see the sides of the mirror when taking photos or video. Everyone who sees is comments on how it’s even prettier (and larger) in person!

Is it worth the price?
This is obviously personal preference, but I think the Anthropologie mirror it’s 100% worth the splurge. However, I do think it’s a purchase to really consider before impulsively buying it. You want to make sure you have the right space for it fits your decor style. I have been lusting over this mirror for years and now that I own it, it’s something I wish I got sooner. It makes such a statement in the room, but is also timeless and I know I will use it it my home forever. I have the 7-foot mirror on my wishlist but right now it’s too large for our current home.
** Note, Anthropologie does charge $150 for shipping and delivery of this item. I think this is more of a value when ordering a larger size in the mirror, because it’s very heavy and they can place it in the correct room for you! You can catch free shipping on it occasionally, but it’s usually not when the mirror is on sale.
The lowest price you can find it for is during a 30% off sale, usually during their home event in January and during Black Friday.
